Onderstaande lijst verscheen op 29 januari 1999. Vijftig critici en muzikanten leverden een lijstje aan met hun all time favourite albums. Redacteur Tom Cox stelde uiteindelijk de lijst samen.Er was slechts een voorwaarde: alle albums moesten twee jaar of ouder zijn.
