Selected by a panel of our most revered writers (ongeveer 35 personen). The criteria for inclusion was simple; each record had to represent a pivotal moment in modern guitar music. It had to be an album that changed the lives of both the people who heard it and the direction of music in general.

 

Achter elke titel staat een jaartal. Dat jaartal is sommige gevallen dubieus (Robert Johnson was in 1966 al jaren dood; in dat jaar kwam wel de eerste van de twee beroemde King of the Delta blues singers op elpee uit).

In veel gevallen zijn dé nummers waar het om gaat uitgebracht op andere (verzamel)cd's.
